This year’s senior class has demonstrated an intensity in most new endeavors they have undertaken. With this intensity | pray that each individual within the class of 1986 will see the Greatness of God contrasted with the Emptyness of life apart from God. There is much potential represented in these 22 seniors and as a staff we pray that they may be strong in the Lord ... putting on the full armor of God that they may stand firm against the schemes of the devil. It is also our prayer that they never lose sight of the fact that their wrestle is not against flesh and blood but against principalities and powers of this sin-darkened world. BELINDA R. A7= TRACK 1986 COACH’S CORNER Each year appears a new and unique portrait painted by our students, staff, board, and our God. | wondered, as | do every year, how would this senior class represent themselves in 1985-86? Many seniors came back with a com mitment to God and a desire to be obedient to Him. We also began this school year with a large turnover in our faculty which would cause one to consider the question, what might be in store for us? Along with this came some new people on our school board. A question | had was, what changes and directions would this school take this year? The picture was becoming very bright and colorful. There was a dark area on our canvas when part of our N.C. family passed on to be with the Lord. We can rejoice with Connie but yet still feeling the pain of separation from her. In November, our financial situation looked as bleak as it has for a number of years; and again we witnessed the faithfulness of God and His people. As we, at N.C., added to the painting, it is very easy to see the Master Artist and Creator in each stroke as we look back. We know again, from experiencing this year together, the change that can take place by the touch of the Master’s hand. - Coach Larry Schreiber Heave-ho John!!
