SUPERINTENDENT Mr. Glenn Davenport ‘Walking in His Steps” has been a guideline for Nebraska Christian for many years. Well ex- pressed in scripture by Galations 5:25, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit,” the success of NCHS depends on the energizing element of the Holy Spirit. . in the office... PRINCIPAL Mr. H. Kay Sawyer If we are to follow in the steps of Jesus, it will mean sacrifice, commitment, and finally com- plete victory. As we reflect upon the activities and achievements of this year, let’s thank the Lord for steps we have taken in his direction, and pray with the Psalmist for the future: “Order my steps in thy word, and let not any iniquity have dominion over me’. This is one of the several changes that are taking place on campus. This new location accommodates the Print Shop very well. PUBLIC RELATIONS The Print Shop Staff has been really loaded with work for the school and for several outside customers. We appreciate their helpfulness also in ‘sharing’ their dark room with the ‘Reflec- tor’ staff for developing pictures; we really praise the Lord for this dedicated staff. The two men in charge of NC’s public relation work are Mr. Ranney and Mr. Ressel. They go out and inform friends of recent developments at school and also of needs. In addition, they answer a lot of questions! Mr. Ressel edits a school publication, ‘News 'N Notes’, a paper that tells what’s going on among students, staff, and alumni. —_ - — : = |NEBRASKA CHRISTIAN PRESS Commercial Off-set Printing LUNCHROOM SUPERVISORS Mr. Rich Musgrave, Supper Mrs. Cathleen Mays, Breakfast Mr. Jack Bair, Dinner KITCHEN STAFF Back Row: Mrs. Ranney, Mrs. Moore. H. C. mowers with 9-ft. bars mounted on one tractor. Both mowers are the pitmanless balanced head type for smooth, fast operation. Rear mower is driven by a drive shaft through 2 right angle gear boxes Each mower bar is raised and lowered indi- vidually from hydraulic system of tractor. TRANSPORTATION IS Sut NO PROBLEM | It takes only seconds to change this trail mower from mowing position to transport position. To tran sport the mower, simply release the ball hitch on the front end of the tractor and hook to the ball mounted on the rear axle of the tractor, thus letting the mower trail directly behind the tractor. The two wheels on the trail mower are caster wheels and automatically assume the direction the mower is being pulled. (This Mowing Outfit can also be furnished with (se 4 : a two 7 ft. bars instead of the two 9 ft.) Ready to be moved anywhere. Manufactured By Rowse Hydraulic Rakes Co., Inc. This also protects the rake teeth from breakage. @ Another feature that protects the teeth is springs on the holddown, which absorb much of the shock and strain on the teeth. @ One double-acting hydraulic cylinder easily operates the rake. @ This is the rake that has made all other rakes obsolete. and has found favor with farmers and ri) - ae A ite? ‘a -¢ . ° : a. nit 3 . 4 ; . + | b oe V3 : pe a ‘ ranchers alike. To transport the rake, the tractor is disengaged from the main tongue, which is then lifted to an upwardly position. The tractor is then engaged to a short tongue which is assembled to one of the end wheels. This wheel is locked in position by means of a pin when the rake is in operating position. (See picture at left.) The opposite end wheel locks in two posi- tions, one for raking, the other for transportation. The center wheels are caster wheels, and auto- matically assume the position the rake is being pulled. The Reflector staff would also like to extend a special thanks to every supporter of this yearbook, and especially the following for their help: Nebraska Christian Press, Mr. Davenport, Mr. Ressel, and Eric Benson.
