The record might have been even better if it hadn't been for the poor 'hockey weather'of the past year. When the team should have been out practicing, the conditions of the rink were such that a swimming meet would have been more fitting. Even so, the spirit of the team remained high and this spirit lasted through the entire year. The team, under the coaching of Fr. Forliti , was led by the co-captains Ron Baregi and Griff Wigley, who teamed up with Tom Quilan to complete the first line. The other two lines also played well, even though the players were often being shifted to new positions. They gave the first line a rest and checked the opposition. Another reason for the team's fine showing is the exceptional goaltending of Pat Lynch and Rich Bipes. Every game this year, even those we lost, was a team effort, a credit to the coaching and to the players themselves. Randy L,Allier Standing: Coach Forliti, J. Wozniak, I. Gryskiewicz, P. Shields, J. The men with the finest showing Were 6'4 Tom Blees, who had a 10 point game average, and Dave Gauthier with a 9 point average. Steve Watters had a fine 6 point average and lived up to expectations OH defense. Jim Charlebois and Paul Severson rounded out the starting five with 6'8 Bob Rosier and Mike Heaton giving fine relief support. Their coach, Fr.
