THE KINGS OF OUR SEAS HERBERT F. COBLEY Mr. Herbert F. Cobley, as Admiral of the Fleet, assumes the responsibility of correlating the programs of the Naz¬ areth Area Schools from kindergarten through twelth grade. These programs are designed to meet the needs of the various types of students and to pro¬ vide equal opportunities for all, encour¬ aging them to set and reach their high¬ est goals. Mr. Cobley received his B. S. in Ed¬ ucation at Kutztown and his M. A. in Administration and Supervision at Le¬ high University. Under Mr. Cobley’s guidance, the new elementary school, which is to be erected in the very near future, will add to the advancement of our educational program. Herbert F. Cobley FREDERICK C. BENFIELD The Captain of the ship in our Un¬ derwater Fantasy is the principal, Mr. Benfield, who is responsible for the su¬ pervision of curriculum, advising the student body and the general operation of the submarine. A friend and coun¬ selor to every student, Mr. Benfield tries to coordinate the viewpoints of parents, students, and teachers. Mr. Benfield received his B. LEGISLATORS OF THE DEEP NAZARETH AREA SCHOOL BOARD The Nazareth Area School Board has made plans to erect a new elementary school on the site of the present football field. Construction has already begun. The School Board also has intentions of adding a cafeteria to the rear of the Junior High School.
