The crowd cheers as Jeff Marsh gallops for a Nazareth touchdown. FOOTBALL FACTS After recovering a Wilson fumble early in the second quarter, the Eagles again threatened by moving the ball to the Wilson 19, but lost the ball on downs. With just 15 seconds remaining in the half, Jeff Marsh intercepted a Wilson pass and raced 64 yards for a touchdown. During the half the spectators were entertained by the excellent Nazareth and Wilson bands. Resuming the battle, Wilson received the kickoff, but lost the ball on downs. After a short punt the Eagles moved 50 yards, climaxed by FredKeim ' s 11 yard jaunt, to score. Although Wilson moved the ball to the Nazareth 15 yard line late in the quarter, they lost the ball on a fumble. Capitalizing on Wilson ' s third quarter fumble, Fred Keim circled end and streaked 14 yards for Nazareth ' s final touchdown. Again the Warrior ' s started to move, first from their 33 to the Nazareth 34 and later from the Eagle 16 to the 3 but each time the drives were stopped by the strong Blue Eagle defense.
