Columbia University. 2. In Mr. Leh ' s Gym class, boys participate in an active game of basketball. In our health classes the student is taught to care for his body. Proper health habits are an important part of the students training. Physical Education stresses the body from the point of participation in planned activities that lead toward strength and well - being. Sportsmanship and cooperation are forwarded to help the student in getting along with others. Participating in sports requires body co - ordination which is help¬ ful in everyday living. Driver Education teaches the students of our school to be better drivers and students. They learn the techniques of good driving, along with the care of their automobiles. Basic driving laws are stressed so that a student is prepared to pass his operator’s test. 3 3.
