SPANGENBERG Spangu Because this miss formerly lived in Bangor, she couldn’t decide where her allegiance belonged. The temptation of N. H. S. was too great and now she’s a loyal Nazareth rooter. Although she may seem quiet, she is a good student and is preparing for a nursing career. Dramatic Club 2, 3; Forum Club 3. LORAINE M. SPENGLER Rainy Rainy’s sole interest in school is home economics. Maybe this is in prepa- ration for her future which will be well taken care of by Harold. A hobby that occupies a lot of I.oraine’s time is collecting fancy pieces of glassware. Dramatic Club 3; Cilee Club 1. CATHERINE STELTZMAN Cathy A whiz on the gym floor, Cathy is interested in every sport. If you want to keep up with the latest gossip, just ask Cathy. CATHERINE E. SIEGFRIED Siggie Whiz! There goes Siggie a minute or two before the buzzer. One of our town students whose name sometimes appears on the honor roll, she is always ready to defend what she thinks is right. Siggie’s pleasing personality has won her many friends. Her goal is to he a competent and efficient nurse. Comet, Editorial 3; Dramatic Club 2; Glee Club 2; Prom Decorating Com- mittee 2; Student Council 3. DOROTHY M. SILFIES Dorothy Dorothy is small and inclined to be rather quiet. Sports do not appeal to her very much, but she enjoys singing and was a member of the Glee Club. Dorothy is an out-of-town commercial student. Dramatic Club 1, 2, 3; Glee Club 2. GLORIA M. SMITH Smitty A Dodge, a small fox terrier, and leisure time for listening to records are the most valuable possessions of Smitty. Next to these. SMITH Lu Here’s Lu, that popular cutie of the senior class. As Glee Club pianist and an active band member, Lu is developing her musical talent. One of her favorite pastimes is dancing. ARLING G. STOUT A rling Arling’s favorite pastime is fishing, although we never saw any of his catches. He has quite a sense of humor, we’re told. Arling was one of Mr. Kostenbader’s willing assistant stage managers during the senior play. Here comes Dick to school on his motor bike. Since Dick works at PafF and Darrohn’s Garage, he doesn’t have time for after- school activities. Although Richard enjoys deer hunting, he isn’t very interested in school. After graduation, he plans to become a mechanic. Science Club 3. OWEN H. SULLIVAN Sully Who's that mighty guard blocking his stiff opponents in that all-important football game? It’s Sully, fighting with determination to win. Besides football, Sully enjoys driving the Hast Lawn gang to school. He has little interest in school subjects, and his future appears to be undecided. Football. Her pleasing per- sonality plus a cheery smile make her a friend to everyone. Her latest — you’ll just have to ask Switzer — we’re too confused! She likes sports of any kind from hiking and swimming to hunting and baseball. Betty has a three mile hike to school every morning and she claims she enjoys it.
