ANNA M. MANNING Shorty Look at our future air hostess! The frequent appearance of her name on the honor roll should help her in her ambition. She is a faithful sport fan and a friend to all. MARSH Marshie Not so much noise!” says Marshie trying to keep the library quiet as she goes about her duties of student librarian. He does enjoy driving around in his 1946 Chevy. Band, Color Guard 2; Baseball 1; Basketball, J. V. I, Varsity 2; Student Council 1; Photography Club 3; Senior Play, Major 3. ARDALENE M. MATTHIAS Ardalene That Ardalene loves to gab is evident by the fact that she takes a great interest in giving out the latest gossip. A commercial student, she is preparing to be someone’s secretary in the future. Blue and White, Business 3; Commercial Club 2; Glee Club 2. DORIS J. MEYERS Doris “Hit it. hit it!” cries Doris in volley hall season as she spurs her team to victory. Besides being one of our typists for the Comet, Doris types for the Blue and White. KENNETH W. KULP Dutch Here’s a boy that’s really been around. Before coming to Nazareth, he had attended two other high schools and served in the Navy in the South Pacific. Dutch enjoys baseball, and building scale model airplanes and ships. GERALD W. KURTZ Kurtzit If you should see a group of girls crowded about a rather handsome fellow, chances arc, they’re admiring Kurtzie, the most MISS informed guy in the senior class. Kurtzie’s favorite hobby is chemistry. He experiments regularly and sometimes with startling and unexpected results. Baseball, Assistant Manager 1; Football, Varsity I, 2, 3; Science Club 3; Track 2. ANNA B. LAUBACH Ann Despite her after-school job, Ann does take an interest in her school work. What makes Anna want to study Consumer Science? Could it be because of her interest in a certain mechanic? Blue and White Typist 2; Dramatic Club 3; Glee Club 1, 2. ROBERT G. LEH Bobby “Well, the way I look at things, it seems to me that”— yes, it’s the professor himself starting one of his daily speeches in P. D. class. ELIZABETH C. MIKSCH Betty Although Hetty is very active in the Student Council and the Commercial Club, she is a good student and her name appears frequently on the honor roll. There’s never a dull moment when Hetty is around, and if you want the latest gossip tid-bit, just consult Hetty. Blue and White Typist 2; Cheerleader, J. V. 1, 2; Dramatic Club 3; Comet, Editorial Staff' 3; Senior Play, Business Manager 3; Student Council 2. BERNICE L. MILLHEIM Bernie Dancing seems to be Hernie’s main interest. Just mix a laugh, a good sense of humor, and the ability to make friends and you’ll have Bernie. However, she doesn’t believe in putting her heart and soul into her work. Perhaps it’s because it belongs to Harold. Glee Club 1, 2, 3; Prom, Refreshment Committee 2. GLADYS M. MILTENBERGER Milty Although Gladys comes from out of town, that doesn’t prevent her from taking part in the hand and other school activities. Hand 3; Baseball 1, 2; Dramatic Club 1, 2; Glee Club 2; Student Librarian 2; Volleyball 1. CHRISTINA MITCH Chris Chris would rather read a good library book in study hall than study her lessons.
