MILDRED BEATTY Mildred” Mildred seems to be quiet but she really is a happy-go- lucky girl. She made a great hit as a guitar player when she broadcasted over WCBA. Social dancing is her favorite pas- time. Glee Club (1); Operetta (1). ALICE BECK “Alice” Quiet, well-dressed, well-mannered, that’s Alice to a T. She has a pleasing personality and a smile for everyone. Be- sides being fond of athletics, she is an excellent student. Her talent in art has contributed greatly to the success of this book. May her fine qualities prove a help to her at Syracuse University.
