To promote child welfare in the home, school, church and community; to raise the standards of home life; to secure more adequate laws for the care and protection of women and children. 2. To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the training of the child, and to develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for every child the highest advantages in physical, mental, moral and spiritual education. The Association originally consisted of but sixty-two parents and teachers, and it now has an enrollment of 220 memliers, which shows its splendid progress and the interest shown by the community. Meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, and the yearly dues are twenty-five cents a member.
