This being only our second year in the Academic League, composed of the private academies of Phila- delphia, we are building a strong foundation for N.A.'s future bas- ketball teams. Under the diligent supervision of Miss Ann Spellman we are constantly adding points to our credit. The cheerleaders with their snappy songs build up the spirit ol' the spectators and give the team initiative to win for their Alma Mater and make its name stand high in sport activities. Sister Blanche Q lheresa Garstkal Sister hlarie Qlrene Kornowskal The Young Dancer CGeorgina Bakerl pays mock homage to Blanche, Goddess of Reason, while the knitters weave the names of the doomed in Nladame Defarge fashion. The annual play, SONG AT THE SCAFFCLD, climaxed months of study and coaching, of sewing of costumes, and of preparing props.
