Our Progressive Foculty Some people are under the impression that nuns. because they are not seen often in public places are not progressive. How sadly mistaken would they find themselves to be if they could but read the rest of this little article! Let us see what our faculty did along educational activities out' side Rochester. Last August members of our Sodality with two faculty moderators attended the Summer School of Catholic Action at Fordham University. Early in October, members of the school publications staffs went to the Eastern States Press Convention at Syracuse, accompanied by two faculty Inembers. Two faculty mem- bers attended the Catholic School Press Convention at Marquette University in Milwaukee. Thanksgiving Day, early in the morning-a horrid time, we think, to leave home, a time when the turkey is not yet out of the oven---f our principal and director of studies left Rochester for the Middle At- lantic States Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools Convention in Atlantic City. March found our publica- tion statTs with their teacher-advisers again on the train, this time headed for the Columbia Scholastic Press Convention in New York. New York once more claimed the presence of one of our faculty-one of our art teachers' fat the Eastern Art Association Convention during Easter Week. The faculty director of the Perosian Choir attended the All State Music Convention in Syracuse, while far off Chicago welcomed another of our teachers at the National Education Association Convention.
