Keeping Nazareth in the newsi' was the accomplishment of the Nazareth Information Service, formerly known as Press Bureau. There was a mood of change accompanied by brainstorming sessions. Stories, based on an awareness of the changing spirit of the Nazareth students, were carried to the outside world. It informed the people in the area of our events, services, and abilities. The ANNOUNCER did more than just list club meetings and school events. It reported pertinent events and existing social problems. Monthly polls were N I S ANNCUNCER taken on subjects relevant to the students, such as the question of the draft and the revision of the religion grading and detention systems. Students were given the chance to voice their opinions through 'Nazareth Talks Back. Throughout the year, ANNOUNCER gave the students the freedom and the power to do something constructive.
