Into the world of abstraction we wander, to try to grasp something solid and tangible such as a theorem, principle, or corollary. We look to logic to explain the answer, but somehow it never seems logical. We become perplexed not knowing how to solve a vast array of equations, being uncertain where the y goes, or what theorem or formula to employ. One's proud exclamation of MATHEMATICS SCIENCE l've just trisected an anglelu, though, is only greeted by a teacherts look of disbelief and a sigh of dismay. In our world of unprecedented technological advancements, the necessity for extensive study in the field of science remains imperative. The courses offered not only appealed to those interested in pursuing these fields in depth, but also conferred practical knowledge. To grasp just the beginnings, the fundamentals in physical science, and to explain the mystery of life and the phenomenon of evolution were the goals of freshman and sophomore students. To comprehend the laws of motion, matter, and energy in chemistry and physics were what the upper classman strove to accomplish. . ,t Nmmwamw Is this the car with plalformate?

Anne De Visschcr mdiarcs le foie de Vivre! We sometimes find it hard to express our thoughts and ideas in our own language, but to speak of them in a foreign media seems inconceivable at times. Be it French, German, Latin, or Spanish, the details of grammar and pronunciation often seem to be LANGUAGES insurmountable. Nevertheless, the student is encouraged to delve into the languages, customs, and culture of its people. In the modern languages, the stress is on verbal communication. In Latin, the beauty is said to be found in the words of the immortals-Cicero, Virgil, and Caesar. The language student is offered not just the challenge, but the opportunity to disprove the saying that words are few and far between .
