e 've grown ClCC'fLlSfOITLO SENIOR CLASS HISTORY Every History book has a preface in which the author expresses gratitude to everyone who has helped him in producing his book. We wish to thank Nazareth. the faculty. and the girls who are Nazareth. for it is their history, lived in the past four years. of which we write. Freshman year was a year of firsts. Who can forget the excitement of the first bell signalling a change of class? Adjustment seemed our biggest problem. About mid-year we elected our first class oflicersz President - Ioan Sweeny. Vice- President - Mary Ann Mack. Secretary - Maureen Meyer. Treasurer - Brenda Do- minski. Qperetta time found us busily rehearsing our numbers in Naughty Marietta . lRe- member the A'Quadroons ?J Qur first dance brought us together for the first time as a class working on a class project. The Kith 'n' Kin was called, appro- priately enough, Cupid's Capers . First retreat followed. a highlight among the many other 'ihrstsn of our premier year at N.A.: first lunch period. exams. gym classes and tournaments. Qur production of The Courting of Marie Ienvrinn will doubtless bring a smile to the faces of many sophis- ticated seniors. Sophomore year introduced the scientific era. Calmly manipulating scalpel and pin. we discovered the inner intricacies of frog. worm. and crayfish. Nleanwhile congruent triangles demanded proving and Pytha- goreas posed a theorem for our compre- hension. Iulius Caesars untimely demise was mourned by sophomores wearing fun- eral black and white ribbons for the ldes of March, while the more intrepid among us were busy fighting the Gallic wars cum Caesare vivente.
