fI'0IIIA llllg notes 11.sc.'011c! 160 .sky Jqncf KIHCIVPII g joys l.I1SlJl.l'0.n ORCHESTRA Nazareth's Qrchestra is growing as the school is growing. Many new. enjoyable pieces are being added to its repertoire: for example. the student body was treated to selections from My Fair Lady as part of their Christmas concert. The orchestra is under the direction of Sister Mary Cecilia and Mr. Richard Pitera whose efforts are appreciated by a grateful student body. CHORAL CLUB Nazareths Choral Club is one of the largest organizations in the school consisting of almost one hundred girls. Each year it adds new members to its ranks. It participates in many events outside of school. such as music festivals, and concerts with other schools. This year the Choral Club won first rating in the Choral Festival at Maria High School. Each Christmas the school is treated to a selection of hymns and carols by the girls. The girls sing under the direction of Sister Miriam Rose. CHORAL CLUB Row l: Left to Right: K. King, I. King, S. ooster battalions patro! our It's the 'ibehind-the-scenes workers in any corpora- tion who make the wheels run smoothly and seemingly effort- lessly. Inconspicuous and unnoticed. they move about in their habitual skills. and through their effort mold the daily routine in which we all participate. These workers are not humdrum robots nor thankless martyrs. They are compen- sated for their time and trouble with lessons in alertness. responsibility. and efficiency by the best teacher there is - experience. So we add a few words of thanks to all who through their varying capacities make life at Nazareth run its usual. smooth pattern.
