Butler. The purpose of the school newspaper, the Announcer , is to inform Nazareth's citizens of the more significant events that occur each month. N.A.'s 'AAnouncer is a type of collage in print that mirrors the activities of each class and department. However, the features, rather than the news, distinguish our paper from that of a public school. The editorials reflect our Christian training. our school spirit. our desire to be apostles for Christ. Here is an example of the Catholic press on a small scale and Catholic press writers in their embryonic stages. The paper furnishes means for ambitious artists. poets. and journalists to express their views and exhibit their creative ability. Perhaps the thrill experienced by the students upon see- ing their literary or artistic work presented be- fore the entire student body will be the first stage in the development of future contributors and 'or supporters of the Catholic Press.
