A recent high school student, Bob aspires to make a good aviation machinist mate and help get this war over, but fast. AIELLO, ALFRED N.-Age 27. Co. 1030, New- port, R. I., trained Al The IA7hip in the naive ways of the Navy. The son of Mr. and Mrs. John Aiello of Providence, R. I., he formerly earned his squan- dering money as owner and operator of a manufac- turing plant. His foremost ambition is to get back to Providence and see his wife and child. ANEWALT, ARTHUR ALVIN-Age 19. He is the offspring of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Anewalt of 608 Lafayette Ave., Palmerton, Pa. After joining up at Allentown, Pa., on Feb. 4, 1943, he took his medi- cine with Co. 473 at Sampson, N. Y.. A student at the time of his error, Porky's hobby is girls. He wants to travel all around the country. APPERT, PAUL-Age 17. Doc is the sunshine of Mrs. L. A. Appert of 467 Overbrook Road, Ridge- wood, N. He slipped a cog at New York, N. Y., in Feb., 1943, and breezed through boots at Newport, R. l., with Co. 455. Doc's foremost ambition is to travel around the United States on a motorcycle. His hobby is dreaming of his ambition. ARSENAULT, ARTHUR F.-Age 18. Formerly a wood worker, Artie signed on the dotted line at Lawrence, Mass., on Alan. 4, 1943, and exhausted himself drilling with Co. 446, Newport, R. I. The progeny of Mr. and Mrs. Felix Arsenault of 151 Syl- vester St., Lawrence, he aspires to advance as far as possible in his rate. AUDETTE, CHARLES HENRY, AIR. - Age 24. Co. 448, Newport, trained Charley,' for a successful hitch in the Navy. Before enlisting at Boston, Mass., in Ianuary, 1943, he worked for Pratt Xe Whitney and spent much of his leisure time traveling. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles H. Audette, Sr., of Bridgewater, Mass. Charley wants to trot the globe. BAKER, ROLAND C.-Age 18. Bake', was a machinist's helper before he signed on at Spring- field, Mass., on Alan. 26, 1943, and took his medicine with Co. 445, Newport, R. I. The son of Mr. and Mrs. George Baker of YVindsor, Vermont, Route 2, Bake is ambitious to make good in the Navy. I-Ie pines for the land of Vermont. BALDINELLI, ALBERT CHARLES-The eter- nal sunshine of Mrs. A. Baldinelli of 513 Orleans St., Boston, Mass., Al committed himself there on Feb. 2, 1943, and was railroaded to Newport where he suffered with Co. 1027. He formerly earned his spending money as a ship rigger. His hobbies are dancing, skating and swimming.
