YV., CSp.-Chief Dresser has a M. degree from N. S. T. C. Previously a teacher in the Rumson, N. high school, he instructs in mathe- matics, drawing, blinker and semaphore. GAMEYVELL, EDXNARD R., CYNT-Enlisting in the Navy at Scranton, Pa., Oct. 1, 1917, Ed did his boot sentence at Norfolk, Va., having previously worked as a police guard. His home is at 2720 No. Howard St., Baltimore, Md. Ivorking with tools is his hobby. FREUND, R. J., CSp.-Chief Freund is an instruc- tor in mathematics, drawing, blinker and semaphore. He has an M. E. degree from the University of Minne- sota, and had wide experience in shop work and auto mechanics before joining the Navy. KOSTER, E. C., CSp.-He taught at the high school at Medelia, Minn., before enlisting. A hand tools instructor in the AMM School, he holds a B. E. degree from State Teachers College, Mankato, Minn. LITTLE, W. YV., CSp.-Mr. Little was born in 1897. He received both the B. S. E. and M. E. degrees from the University of Missouri. Previous to his enlist- ment, he taught high school nine years at Hastings, Neb., and worked as a draftsman for an automobile manufacturer. His job is hand tools instructor. MCMURTRY, CHAS. E., CSp.-Chief McMurtry holds a B. E. degree from the State Teachers College, Mankato, Minn. He taught for eleven years in Minne- sota high schools before enlisting in the Navy. His home address is 714 First St., S. YV., Rochester, Minn. SANDERS, H. E., CSp.-He gives instruction in the use of hand tools at AMM Schools. A graduate of the University of Alabama with a B. S. E. degree, he worked in steel mill machine shops prior to his enlistment. SLATER, H. A., CSp.-He taught vocational sub- jects in Montana high schools before joining the Navy. Mr. Slater was born in 1906 and is a graduate of Mon- tana State University with a B. S. degree. His work at N. A. T. T. C. is instructing mathematics, drawing, blinker and semaphore.

He received his commission at Kansas City in February, 19111. His permanent home is in Farragut., Iowa. He builds model airplanes as a hobby. ENSIGN M. H. JONES, Officer-in-Charge, Engine Phase - He was formerly a supervisor of an aircraft school. Ensign Jones was graduated from college with a B.S. degree, and also took flight training. He was commissioned in August, 1942, at New Orleans, La. His ambition is to be in charge of the first plane that lands in conquered Tokyo.

Assistant Officer-in- Charge, Airplane Phase - From Davenport, Iowa, Lieutenant Beckman joined the Navy in October, 1942, at Jacksonville, Fla. A graduate of Iowa State College, B.S. degree, he worked as a vocational educa- tion supervisor in civilian life. He is a sports fan. CONNELL, R. E., ACMM-Chief Connell has twenty-one years of Naval service as a background. He taught all A to N subjects at Norfolk for two years. He is a final assembly instructor. EATON, ROBERT C., Mach., U.S.N.-He has had twenty-six years of service in the Navy, having en- listed in May, 1917, at El Paso, Texas. The son of Mrs. Maud B. Eaton, his permanent address is 3972 Hamilton St., San Diego, Calif. His hobby is guns. FISHER, G. YV., CSp. QTQ -A graduate of West Virginia Tech with a B. S. degree, 1938, he was trained at N. T. T. C., Chicago, before coming to Memphis where he instructs A to N students in airplane structure. JOHNSON, R. L., ACMM -He has been in the Navy six years and formerly taught in AMM School at Norfolk. Chief Johnson instructs students in air- plane instruments. HOSTETLER, AI. C., CSp. QTQ - Prior to his enlistment he had spent thirteen years in the teaching and coaching profession. In 1940 he received the M. A. degree from Colorado State College. Airplane structure is his specialty. HUFFCUT, HAROLD XV., CSp. CTQ- Huffy is from Andover, N. Y., and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank G. Huffcut. After enlisting at Chicago in No- vember, 1942, he trained at 87 and.Anthony there. He attended State Normal and Alfred University in New York. OTSTOT, W. J., CSp. QTQ -He instructs AMM students in the principle of airplane controls. After taking his B. S. degree in 1935 he was employed as an aeronautical draftsman and sheet metal man. ROE, G. E., CSp. QTQ -Chief Roe is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and had three years experience in woodworking. His Navy training in- cluded principles of teaching at AMM School in Chi- cago. He is final assembly instructor. RINEHART, H. W., ACMM-Age 51. He en- listed in the Navy August 7, 1910, and has had a total of nearly thirty-three years service. His official title is Leading Chief of Airplane Phase. He taught at the Norfolk AMM School before taking over his present duties.
