Dedication We, the Class of 1959, wish to dedicate our yearbook to you, Mr. Pettingill, in an effort to express our appreciation and grati¬ tude for your invaluable assistance through¬ out our high school years. We will never forget your patient, friendly, and untiring efforts to assist us in both our schoolwork and extra curricular activities. Foreword It has often been said, that we are the hope for the future. This is a high sounding phrase, but leaving out its emotional overtones, one can find a core of realism here. During our years in school we have laughed, and joked among ourselves of how glad we would be to graduate. Now that moment has arrived; we find our thoughts have changed. Before we leave Orleans High School for good, we want to dedicate ourselves fully to our place and duties in life. We want to thank you, our teachers and parents, for the education you have provided for us. We assure you that we are aware of our job and, upon graduating shall begin fulfilling the hopes and trust that you have placed in us.
