It has carried on and improved the hall monitor system established by the Student Government of °45—’46. In addition, the Safety Patrol has been posted in the road outside to direct traffic when buses are loading. Probably the crowning achievement of the year was the establishment of an information desk in the lower hall for the benefit of visitors. This desk has been manned at all times by a responsible student who has received valuable training while rendering service. During the last two years the council has been fortunate to have as its faculty advisors Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Francis. They have always been ready to assist and have given sympathetic guidance in all our efforts.
