All too little credit is given to the industrious faculty of NCHS. Day after day, year after year, the faculty endeavors to prepare students for their long voyage through life. That the faculty has succeeded in this aim may be seen to a degree through the high scholastic standing in the entire Rocky Mountain area that the school has achieved. Not satisfied with only the scholastic standing, the student-faculty team has built up an enviable record for athletics. This could not be done by the stu- dents alone. NCHS has still another record, the fact that few other schools in Wyoming have as many organized activities. Again the faculty plays a major role, as every activity must have a sponsor. Even though each teacher is busy with affairs of his own, rarely does a student seeking to form an organization receive a negative answer. The sponsorship of activities is not obligatory, and this fact indicates the unselfish- ness of the faculty. Time changes many things, but the kindliness of the faculty toward the students never changes. Assistance in personal problems as well as scholastic difficulties is rendered willingly.
