In recognition of the fact that one may understand and dis- cern the nature of most of the activities of our high school stu- dents by merely watching their feet, this annual has been ar- ranged. The corridors have resounded with the footfalls of NCHS students for a quarter of a century. From the morning a Freshman first wanders down the strange new halls with uncertain footsteps until the night he marches out as a Senior, slowly and rather reluctantly, to the strains of Pomp and Circumstance, he has walked many miles. It is the purpose of this annual to show, through the medium of their feet, the people and activities that make our school what it is. 4
