BOWMAN, Registrars liveryone knows the office staff-the competent, patient women who issue uniform, absence and pass slips every day. They are the ones who must constantly listen to the same, l forgot my excuse today, but l'll remember tomorrowfl or l've lost my locker key again excuses. Schedule cards for students changing classes and periods are kept by them. They are responsible for putting through our announcements-by telephone and bulletin. Without Mrs. Burns and Mrs. Bowman, the student-body of N. C. H. S. would be fast on the road to ruin. Helter-skelter dressing, ditching, and the like would be the rule rather than the exception. Who would we ask to help us with our losing troubles and the thousand and one other ones if it were not for them? ln other words, if there is one important part of our school organization that deserves praise and gratitude, it is our office staff.
