Of all the tasks that I have faced in editing this publi- cation this is the most difficult: putting into words my feelings of gratitude toward those who have helped make this book possible. Words are not adequate and space not available to express my heart-felt appreciation to the class, the faculty, and the staff. We have had problems to solve and difficulties to surmount and each time I found willing helpers. You have shown faith in the staff and me by honoring us with our positions and we sincerely hope that we have not disappointed you.
