jf!! ,f A mddl QSCAOOI The Natuonal Cathedral Nflucldle School has many students who come to get a good educa luon Theur parents send them here for they know that ut us a school where eyery student gets unduvudual attentuon under unspurung teachers At Whutby Hall the actuvutues are many and vatued Durung Book Week un Nlovember many books un which everyone took interest were dusplayed un our lubrary There were mys tery teen age sports art musuc and dance books as well as buographues of especually um portant people reluguous books and books on hobbues lach class gave a guft of books to the lubrary and the lughth Trade came out on top agaun by guyung the largest number of books Wfe haye a Furl Seout Troop that meets eyery Thursday afternoon Many gurls are mem bers and take part un the actuvutues whuch enable them to become good cutuzens Laeh grade us guven a chance to go on trups The Qeyenth Grade studyung the duscoyery of Trade went also on a most unterestung trup to the lubrary of Cxongress and the Supreme Four! At Halloween we had a party where many games and pruzes were guyen for the most beautuful most orugunal and the funnuest costumes just before the Chrustmas season the school produced a beautuful pageant un whuch each grade showed Chrustmas scenes from duflerent countrues and un dufferent centurues Eyery day except on l'ruday we have our own chapel programs before classes and each gurl us guven the chance to take part un one or more programs On Fndays we go to the Fathedral for a yount seryuce wuth the upper school We had yery successful junuor Red Cross and Nlarcn of Dumes druyes XVe also had a flothes Druye for chuldren not so fortunate as we are Fyery gurl engaged un these worth whule actuyutues ln art those gufted at drawung spend theur tume at the drawungboard easel or desugnunv posters or doung handcraft of many sorts It us the aum to unterest each gurl un some actuyuty regardless of her talent We haye a yaruety of sports such as soccer basketball tenms baseball and speedball whuch us a combtnatuon of soccer and basketball The Eighth Grade had uts annual dance on Friday lebruary the tenth Valentune de-cora tuons good refreshments and gay dresses made ut a memorable occasuon There us a lot to do un the Fathedral School A steady effort by the most patuent and a ert teachers us made to arouse each gurl s unterest Eyery gurl gets a good substantual educa tuon makes many good fruends and enjoys all that the school offers Hom HMHIM 6 Grade vuuu f 7 . u ' 'u A V . Because of this ready aid, we have progressed in many ways and we now feel that we are a part of NCS. We hope that we shall he able to meet the standards set up for us hy the clder students.
