vm PN U EI 134 Organizations David And Lisa 'Osman The Nathan Hale Players' Fall presentation of David and Lisa marked a change from their usual style of light drama or comedy. David and Lisa is an intense drama about two emotionally disturbed teenagers. It was amazing to see how well this young cast dealt with the serious subject matter of David and Lisa. The drama club was priveleged to have an abundance of fresh talent to work with, having both sophomores and freshmen new to the school. The roles featured Katy Woida as Lisa and Brian Besaw as David. Other major roles included Tony Gill as the psychiatrist, Eric Hertzfeld as a teacher, Jenni Hurlbut as David's mother, and Chris Hintz, Mark Hagan, Peggy Zimmer, Jeannie Holmquist, Jeff Gengler, and Kim Haines as David and Lisa's fellow classmates.

Farr Exchange On March 17 and 18 the Nathan Hale Players presented the star-packed extravaganza Fair Exchange . This ex- citing comedy left people talking for weeks. The play marked the debuts for freshmen Julie LaFore and Debbie Mumford, who turned in realistic portrayals of two young girls involved in the capture of a fugitive. Fair Ex- change also featured Janel Van Beck as a whining girlfriend, Andy Rode as her boyfriend and Tamra Besaw as a young lady abducted by a criminal. Kammy Kie- drowski, Steve Schmidt, Paul Fliss, Mark Hagan and Den- ise Kabara played fine supporting roles. Laura Endter was a scream as a crazy school administrator. Jenni Hurlbut was everyone's best friend in her portrayal as a best friend. Crowd pleaser Dan Kabara brought down the house in his role as a Long Island cop. Eric Hertzfeldt could have made Mona Lisa smile in his performance as an upset father. Seniors Brian Besaw and Mike Jakubowski gave sparkling performances acting in Fair Exchange .
