ONE DAY REFORM During his traumatic experience at Cummins, it was reported that Willie was chased by a car, shot at around the feet, and forced to stick his head under water on a cold day. The guards said they were just trying to scare him. Some believe that the fear and injury may have caused an earlier deatl from blood disease. Certainly the prison guards shouldn't attempt t break the monotony of prison life by harassing tt one day prisoners. Conclusively, some type of punishment for firs offenders other than the one-day reform systen should be found. If this proaram is NOT halted. I should at least be seen to that the harassment i-slopped.
