The next week the Scrappers journeyed to their second defeat at the hands of the Texarkana Razorbacks 44 to 0. The Scrappers were again on the away from home defeat list as the Hot Springs Trojans trounced them 36 to 13. Despite the defeat it was obvious the Scrappers were improving. The next week saw the Scrappers spark, ignite, and blaze to a 28 to 12 victory over the Preston Curley Wolves. This was the Scrappers first victory of the season. The Scrappers journeyed to DeDueenwhere they suffered a 49 to 12 defeat by the Leopards. The Scrappers met their second hard one in a row as they lost to the Magnolia Panthers 34 to 0. CAPTAIN MASON ANDRES CAPTAIN RALPH GROSS But the Scrappers came hustling back to a 12 to 7 victory over the Dierks Outlaws. The Scrappers began to like victory and marched to another by defeating the Malvern Eleven 40 to 7. As the Scrappers met Gurdon they still had their charm as they romped over the Go-Devils 46 to 13. This was the highest score made by the Scrappers all year. The Scrappers pulled the biggest upset of the season on Fairview.who was favored two to one, by defeating them 20 to 7 on the Cardinalβs field. The Scrappers dropped the annual Turkey Day Classic to the Hope Bobcats 32 to 7.
