RED QUEEN AND WHITE QUEEN MISS HELEN HALLISEY MISS MILDRED HALLISEY To the Red Queen and the White Queen their country was a checkboard on which a huge game of chess Was being played all over the World. Just as the Red Queen grasped Alice's hand and together ran into the checkerboard kingdom of enchantment, so did Miss Helen Hallisey and Miss Mildred Hallisey hold firmly our hands as We ran headlong into the adventures of the magical World of English. To Miss Helen Hallisey and Miss Mildred Hallisey, Who stayed close by our sides, giving advice and making sure our lessons had meaning, as did the Red Queen and White Queen With Alice, We dedicate this yearbook as a token of gra- titude for both the knowledge and fun they have shared With us during our me- morable stay in Wonderland. THE KING OF HEARTS Upon entering our senior year in Wonderland, several changes in adminis- tration were effected. Among the more notable was the appearance of a new King of Hearts, however, he was new in title only, for we have known him from our first day in Wonderland. Mr. Morley has reigned for one year. During this past year life in Wonderland has proceeded smoothly and efficiently. We, his subjects, want to congratulate him on his very successful year and hope that his GRADUATION ISSUE PAG ELEVEN reign may be long and rewarding.
