Without the careful guidance of protectors Who led our faltering steps upon safe ground, We now must reap the harvest of our toil, For we have reached a milestone in our lives, And now must breast alone this great turmoil. We join the force forever plodding upward. Against the tempting evils driving downward, Striving ever toward our lofty aims, Until irenic light replaces darkness. And only buoyant spirits do remain.
