MN 475 gHmuur Glass ,Hrsinrg rolled as students of the Naselle h1gh school We were as green as the proverblal country pumpkln then but as the months rolled by and we became acquamted we lost some of our greenness and shyness and came to conslder ourselves as real students mstead of bemg merely tolerated as out s1ders The usual 1n1t1at1on party was severe enough but nothmg could dampen our spults so when the party was g1V9D to the rest of the school by the SGHIOTS on Feb 21 1927 we were able to enjoy It wlth the rest of the upper classmen A party was glven by us at a later date to show them all the appreclatlon we felt Elsle Anderson Jolned our ranks durlng the second semester In March we gave a successful play for the beneflt of the Annual Everyone took part and conslderable home talent was dlscovered In Qeptember 1927 we started out agaln nothmg daunted though sllghtly decreased 1n numbers as honorable Sophomores they who know not and know not that they know not We took prlde 1n 1n1t1at1ng the new Freshmen and 1n measure retallatlng for all that we thought we had suffered Other than th1s the year was not marked by any speclal soclal ex ents except the p1cn1c vse gave for our ex cluslve benef1t at the end of the year We went to Bay Center and had a splendld t1me Every Sophomore stud1e.l to the best of h1s or her ab111ty and lt IS to be hoped that our class advlser M1ss Marsters reallzed th1s Durmg our Junlor year we gave another play both here 1n Naselle and at Grays Rlver a thmg wh1ch has no preced ent 1n the annals of Naselle Hlgh hstory We were ac corded the honor of havmg Waldemar Carlson and h1s band from Doty Washmgton play between acts At the end of the year we gave another p1cn1c and of course the usual Junlor Semor banquet Toward the begmnmg of the second semester we ordered our rmgs and p1ns I am sure that we all left school th1s year wlth the mtentlon of glVll'lg' up our fr1volous attitude toward school l1fe dur1ng the pendmg school year and l1v1ng up to our reputatlon as h1gh and mlghty Semors vxhlch has been left so spotless and clean by the preceding class Page 29 ' 4 IQ l 4 IMI Jr. .1 ..,U.-. vr, wir.: 1.1 , , . ,1 ,I . ,.n. .m,,v,,..t'..,.llml..-1I.llll!rIIulnll:l-HM.llilllnl In nineteen twenty-six, twenty-four Freshmen were en- . . y 7 , - ' 7 . 0 , 7 ' 7 7 'V a 1 I v l . 7 7 7 . . 7 . .
