Foreword As we, the Seniors of Narrows High School, prepare to leave the friends we love so much, we think back and remember our first day as members of a school that would love us as much as we loved it. The confusion and excitement, the bewilderment and magnificance of that single day would not let us believe that we were someday destined to become Seniors. Then as the days turned into weeks, the weeks to months, and the months, years; we slowly be- gan to mold into what seemed to be a typical class. But deep down in our hearts, we realize that ours certainly wasn’t so ordinary as we wonder what kept us all so close yet so far apart. Enough of reminiscing, the time has come when we must take our place in society and look to the future for making America an even better place to live. The Class of ’68 is gone and we, our efforts, and our education are but a mere fond memory. —Dale Steven Lewis 6
