Now we grapple with nuclear physics, apple computer: and ecology and tinker with microwaves, solar energy and ataries. W W HEN I WAS your age ... But were they ever? Are school lunches, report cords and graduation our only common ground? I AM, in this maelstrom so fast and vast, just one pebble Small, so small and futile in on endless universe. W£ E WANT to soy, Hey, look or each of us in this place, this town, this hemisphere, this planer, this whole universe. Each of us matters. We live, we feel, we love, we create. As o Superintendent of o small school district, I hove hod the pleosure of closely watching you develop in the classroom, on the athletic field, and in the community or large. I hove enjoyed seeing you grow into young adults and om very proud of your achievements.
