Dear Graduates: Let me offer my sincere congratulations to you on the successful completion of your high school career Hope- fully, your years at Narragansett High School have been ful- filling ones and have materially contributed to your growth in positive and rewarding ways. We are proud of you and your accomplishments and thank you for helping our new high school achieve its current level of excellence, espe- cially in its formative years. As the graduating class of 1980 you will be facing a new decade with new challenges and hopes. Go forward with confidence, seeking new knowledge, skills and ideas while at the same time respecting the opinions of others. Learn the difference between schooling and education.
