Janice Sticlcel We, the class oi '55, have completed our last year of high school with the satisfaction of ac- complishment. With a trip to New Yorlc as our goal we ardently sold taiiy and managed the con- cessions at the haslcethall games. Naturally, in our senior year, most of our classmates were officers or active memhers in at least one extra-curricular activity. The people who represented us in Student Council and National Honor Society were Daniel Hostetter, Janice Sticlcel, Alan Wilt, Marcia Mutschler, James Eilers, Mary Helen Pippen, Beverly George, and Ronald Fields. s n p h n m n 1' H s President ....... ---Gerald Matterri Vice-president ---- ---Judith Rose Secretary-treasurer ...--.- Nancy Peters We, the class oi '57, had a marvelous candy sale to hegin our year's activities. We sold more peanut hrittle. mints, and chocolates than any other sophomore class hefore us. The hest sales- man won a watch. Our representatives for Student Council were Judy Martin and Jan Culp. We want to thanlc our sponsors, Mr. Hopewell and Mr. Copeland, who directed us through the year. 28 junlnrs President ...-------.-- Walter Corwin Vice-president ---- ------ J erry Reed Secretary-treasurer ------ Connie Hossler We. the class ol' '56, started our junior year with the election oi officers. To represent us in Student Council we chose Mary Lu Miller and Jaclc Arnott. Our National Honor Society mem- hers were Kathleen Hahn, Patricia Snider, and Philip Lehman. At the end of Septemher, under the direction of Mr. Postma and Mrs. Miles, our sponsors. we started the annual junior class magazine sales. The goal was to hrealc the previous record held hy the seniors. With the co-operation of everyone in the class that goal was reached. Over three thousand dollars worth of suhscriptions were sold. in Decemher Mrs. Milesss room paid its pen- alty for having sold fewer magazines than Mr. Postma's homeroom hy giving a lcids' party for the victors. freshmen President ------- ---. S uellen Field Vice-president ------------ Larry Cripe Secretary-treasurer ---- Carol Sue Hahn We. the class of '58, enjoyed many achieve- ments in our iirst year of high school. On Octoher 2, 1054, we hoosted our class treasury hy sponsor- ing a paper drive. The Freshmen Follies enter- tained several times after their dehut at the Halloween Festival. Our Student Council representatives were Carol Sparlcs and Patricia Thompson. At this, the end of the school year, we thanlc Mr. Hartle, Mr. Welhorn. and Mr. McGrew for their line joh oi sponsoring us during our First year of high school. That's what we'd lilce to lcnowl After we, the senior class, had nominated and voted for certain ol our classmates to represent the many different fields of school worlc, the annual staff realized that many people in each activity had excelled equally well. It would have been unfair to single out one person when so many deserved credit. VVe're proud, of course. that not just a few of our classmates have succeeded in extracurricular activities: we still have a VVho's Who page to honor outstanding students.
