WILLIAM SCRUTA, head of the Diversified Cooperative Training program, was graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. He also sponsors the Napoleon Chapter of Vocational Industrial Club. The jour- nalism Class greatly appreciated Mr. Scruta's ability to take ex- cellent pictures as the last deadline for the annual approached! JOHN SHELLEY teaches Bookkeeping, Retailing, General Business, and is the advisor of the NHS branch of the Distributive Education Clubs of America. He obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Education at Ball State Teachers College. Mr. Shelley is another of our teachers who is famous for his joking talents and teasing remarks to students. We wonder, was he really a pickle salesman? Well, if he was, we're glad he gave it up to teach in our high school! MERLE WARDEN, classed as one of our best dressed faculty members, teaches Typing, Shorthand, and Office Practice. She has attended Defiance Col- lege and also 'Ohio Wesleyan, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree. Mrs. Warden has been a great help to the journalism class, which could never have managed without her assistance. During the year, she became well-known for the exciting ad- ventures she had with Mergatroid, the mascot colum- nist of the Wildcats' Roar! ROGER WISELOGEL holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Michigan and Michigan State. He teaches Latin and French and acts as advisor to the junior Classical League. Although this is Mr. Wiselogel's first year at NHS, many students have come to appreciate his ability to make Latin class pleasant. It seems he sometimes becomes confused as to whether he is teaching his Latin or French Classes and ' as a result the Latin Class is also learning French! i . ',, . e 1.t. ' gggkg.. I V,
