The Cinderella story was the theme for the annual Napoleon High School junior-senior prom held in the Consumers Power Co employees clubhouse at Clark lake. In keeping with the theme, decorations included a pumpkin coach with white mice, agrand- father clock set at two minutes after midnight, glass slippers, fans and hundreds of gutter stars which were hung from the ceil- ing with blue, silver and pink ribbon streamers. Johnnie C1ayton's orchestra was seated on artificial grass be- fore a large castle. Table dec- orations where 150 were served dinner, included glitter slippers, wands, pumpkins, and spring floral arrangements. Special guests for the evening were Supt. and Mrs. IohnKin,g- don, High School Principal and Mrs. Derek Morris, Elementary Principal and Mrs. Gordon Smith, the Rev. and Mrs. Donald Kraushaar of the Napoleon Methodist church, and Mr. Plummer Sawyer and Mrs. Zetta Robb, class advisers. Tom Smith of the jrmior class was toastrnaster and the invocation was given by Rev. Kraushaar. Shirley Upham, pres- ident of the junior class, gave the address of welcome while the response was given by Ken- neth Bostedor, senior class pres- ident. Anita Brower and Robert Wells, both seniors, were crowned Cinderella and Prince Charm- mg.
