The play THE EYES OF TLALOC is a mystery in three acts in which the suspense is gathered through lighting and sound effects. The lines which the actors speak are very well written to show the actors suspense and fright or to the other extreme their happiness. There have been many hours spent in obtaining the necessary setting pieces as well as gathering the sound equipment. Several problems occured in the making of the set. The idol had to be made and painted in free time throughout the weeks of work. The cast under the direction of Mr. Whitehead and student director, Candyce Williams and the many crew people have found this play most interesting to work with. Its variety of characters made the cast really work to achieve the idea presented by the author Emelie Peterson. The crew working for the scenery and sound effects found their tasks most challenging.
