class in a discussion is Doug Reed, the most likely to suc- ceed, while Jackie Terhune's neat papers show she'll get along in any profession. Everybody give a big cheer for Larry Richardson and Jackie MacKenzie, who remain our Best All Around kids throughout the year. Say, girls, if you want any new ideas on color schemes ask Waneta Carroll. She's got a headful of original ideas, and so has Junior James. Just arriying now with their dignified airs are Sharon Welch and Mike Fish. Leading the list are our ath- letes Arlen Burk who is superb in sports and Margaret Mahr- le, a real snappy cheerleader. Donna Knapp and Sharon Welch also represent us on the squad. Give a big hand to our Class Officers, who are Arlen Burk, Marg Mahrle, Ron Warner, and Doug Reed along with our Student Council representatives Donna Knapp, MBPS Mahrles and Bob Walker. Also, let's not forget those two adV1S0F5 Mr. Queen and Mrs. Babb. Pretty Sharon Sipel lent Soph- more beauty to the Carnival Queen's court at Hallowe'en. Well, the nSophsn have had their moments, good and bad happy and sad, but they will remember this year---you can count on that. ..33.

They kept their spirits up by increasing their treasury with money made by selling hot dogs at the homo basketball games, a scrap drive, dances and selling pen- cils. They were also very successful in the athletic field witn thirteen out for football, one on varsity basketball and contributing their share in reserve basketball. To look at the educational side of the nSophs,n they turn out to be quite a lively bunch. The two class pests, Jack Godfrey and Garnet Grow keep the teachers quite busy with questions of all kinds. Of course, if a question con- cerning the subject accidentally slips in, everyone begins to wonders to wonder. Then, when David Lashley starts playing winkum with the.girls, trying desperately to out do Elsie Haller when she starts fluttering her long, dark eyelashes and flashing a bright smile, there is sure to be some excite- ment about who is going to win this race! Aren't they big flirts thougg?. They then ask most sincere Richard Fostgr and Lorlnda llseth who won. what could have caught t e boys attention now? Oh, Mary Joan Leigh just strolled in. Gee, she's cute. UM-m here comes that handsome hunk of hu- manity, Larry Richardson. Now, girls, you might give him a superiority complex with all that swooning. In the mids a superiority complex with all that swooning. In the midst of those groups you see Waneta Carroll and Doug Reed the most popular kids. Of course no class is complete without those two bookworms. Omer Thoman and Roberta Watts. There's Jane Watts wearing one of her many clever outfits. bhe and Junior James, with his flashy shirts certainly live up to their title of best dressed. Stopping in one of the class rooms you might have heard Robert Walker and Donna Knapp talking away, for it's evident they're the most talkative. Then, too, teachers pets David Lashley and Margaret Mahrle are trying their best to be perfect angels. Leading the 132.-
