Commencement Commencement took place on june 9th at 3:30 in Naperville Memorial Stadium. After a musical processional, during which everyone held onto their hats because of the gusts of wind, Rev. Mr. Thomas Sheridan presented the invocation. Aftervvard, Tom Lullo, the president of the class of 1985, spoke. Graduates Kim Phelps and Sharon Hwang also spoke, presenting a chronological account of the years the class of '85 spent at NCHS. Sheila Ross and Chris D'Alessandro presented the class gift, a set of flags. Afterwards Dr. Poole recognized the co-valedictorians, Beth Green and Apryl Henry and Salutatorian julie Anderson. After Senior Class Awards were given and the class was presented by Dr. Poole and endorsed by Superintendent Dr. james Clark, diplomas were presented.
