1 5 Varsity Wrestling The Varsity wrestling team, coached by Gary Matlock, hnished 4-3-O in conference and 14-4-O overall. Seniors Scott Frego, Brian Larson and Bryan McDonald were team captains. The team finished 4th in regionals and had 5 state qualifiers: Darrick Dorn, john Duraski, joe jehde, Brian Larson, and Bryan McDonald. Rick Surma and Bryan McDonald both lettered for the 3rd year, with Bryan named the MVP, also. john Duraski was the most improved player, and Scott Frego got the Red and White award. l VARSITY WRESTLING - Front row: Pete Shah, Scott Frego, Scott Savage.
