ADMINISTRATION .XX , ., X Dear Warriors: With two classes fboth ninth and tenth gradesj moving to the senior high school this fall, we could describe the 1964-5 school year as the end of the four-year junior high, or Operation Big Switch, or even the year of the Big De- parture. Although we realize how much we will miss those classmates and teachers who will make the big move, we are pleased that our Blue 8: White Warriors will become Blue 8: Gold' Indians. We like being related! As for the year ahead, we see changes in our student body organization and our school pro- gram as necessary steps for progress. Moreover, we must keep in mind that progress comes when we set our goals high enough fthe higher the bet- ter, of coursej and in turn Redwood will con- tinue to grow in quality and spirit. You and I will always remember this year-a very good, rewarding time in our lives. I sincerely hope that whenever you open this splendid book in the years to come, your memories will be even i richer. , Best wishes, Mr. Clayton Long, Principal Clayton A.
