The end of this season saw Redwood's Warriors in second place in intra-city league play under the spirited coaching of Mr. Paul Gullies. The team had a fine record of ten victories and only three defeats. Greg Hedensten led the Warriors in scoring with a 13.25 average with Steve York second at 12.85. This year's co-captains were Greg Hedensten 14130, Redwood's tall forward, and Ray Reaka 141201, a speedster in the guard position. Redwood's other first string guard was shared by Vern Green 141321 and Clyde Evensen 13301. The co-captains for this year's junior Varsity Basketball team were Tim Newman 132, and Richard Kirkpatrick 1221 while Neil Ernst 112, was awarded Most Valuable Player.
