c,mLs' GLEE ll Miss Bl.lFf1Qld,S Advanced Glee Club is composed of girls having one or more years of vocal training. These girls aim to become acquainted with and sing the best of music. The important event of this year was the presentation of a three-act operetta, Miss Caruthers Returns , demanding a repeat engagement. GIRLS' QLEE 1 Girls who have not had previous training in singing have the opportunity to get this training in Girls' Glee I. Part singing, voice training, and the rudiments necessary for the blending of voices is practiced. Mr. Harms feels that the girls gain a good foundation for further chorus work.

ACAPELLA CHOIR Organized early in the school year by Mr. Harms, the choir was chosen from the advanced music students of the high school. It meets every 'Thursday night for rehearsals, and since its organization, has fulilled many singing engagements for local clubs, churches, programs, and neighboring schools. B011 S' QLEE. CLUB Harmonious part singing and tone blending have been the aim of the Boys? Glee Club, organized under the direction oi Mr. Harms. Much progress has been made by the club in the-boys' voices and in the ability to read music. The club is an important and appreciated unit in the school's activities.

l ORCHESTRA It's music in the air to the members of the orchestra, at least! Atmosphere of any desired type is given to perform- ances held in Napa High Auditorium by these rapidly improv- ing artists and their enthusiastic leader, Mr. Catalano, Diffi- cult music has been rendered this year to fine effect. A. A. A. The A. A. A. consists of the public speaking and idramatics Classes. The adviser is Miss Dorothy Coombs. During the year, the club has held a banquet, and attended a stage play in San Francisco. Wayne Boggs was fall president and Vesta Coombs, spring president.
