The girls harmonized with the boys to perfect the lovely theme for this year's annual April Festival, which will characterize the seasons of the year. Although the girls sang Sunnnertime and Because alone, most of this year's concert will combine the boys and girls talents. The purpose of the organization is to build a fellowship of girls devoted to the task of developing their lives physically, mentally, and spiritually. Our money-making activity of the year was the selling of candy at the basket- ball games. The girls responded to this plan with fervor and enthusiasm. During the term we worked on our personal hobbies and proudly displayed them at the Mother-IDaughter Tea, held in April. VVhat we looked forward to most, however, was the election of delegates to the :Xrea Y-Teen and Hi-Y Conference in 'lohnstown and the election of a dele- gate to Tri-State Area Summer camp, which is held at some college in either l'ennsylvania, XVest Virginia, or Ohio. The '48-'49 year ended well, with the girls not graduating looking forward to more fun next year and the thrill of initiating new members. flood luck, girls! The 1949 154-ii., 43

L'nder Mr. Blastox'ich's supervision the Boys' Chorus was reorganized. lfach week the halls of school echo with the voices of deep bold bass and soft smooth tenor. XYouId you like to buy a ticket to the spring concert F This is the familiar cry of all the nleulhers of the lloys' Chorus.
