ESCAPE I wish I were on top of a hill Looking into a valley. It would be Spring And sweet, new grass Would surround me. The valley would slope gently down To a small river that would Heander back and forth- Then back again. flowers would be in bloom, Pink, Yellow And - mauve. Perhaps there ' d be a maple tree with Soft green leaves stretching, On forever. The birds would be twi ttering-as most Birds do In Sprlngtlme- I ' d lie there with my hands Behind my head, Smi 1 ing. She emerges, almost frightened by the emptiness; Trees sigh In the cool breeze, The search begins Independence: The need to be free. She wi 1 1 not discover Beauty In all But... The sun peers over the mountain, feels it ' s safe and arises. The world awakens only to be destroyed seconds later by man ' s own creation. THE GREAT PIZZA PIGOUT The 67 pigs gathered on March 1 1 at Pizza Hut for the first Pizza Pigout ever. It was an evening full of fun and probably later on... indigestion. Pizza Hut was closed to the public, so students were able to listen to popular music and move around socializing with their friends. It ' s great... good pizza, good company but... where ' s the beer, stated Gary Green. It ' s unbelievable, added Leslie Cox. Pizza eating contests went on between individual students and teams of eight. When last asked, Lincoln Boomers had eaten 13 pieces of pizza and said, I can still go for more. This is a lot of fun and worth the money. I ' d do it again. Pizza Hut ended up making over 60 large pizzas and 10 minis.
