The Northerners, having defeated everyone in that part of the state, were termed as a power house, with a 200-pound line average and a speedy backfield. Pre-game publicity didn't mean much to the Bulldogs as they literally mopped up the field with Kellogg, almost scoring at will to post a terrific 34-0 final score. llonors came thick and heavy as the team from N.H.S. was rated one of ldabo's all-time greats. Louie Nlaravilla, Dale Huss, Buster Hoff, and Wayne Blickenstaff were unanimous choices for the Big Six first team, accompanied by George Keim and Bob Luekenga, who also rated first team berths. Jay Dean, Dick King, and Norman Kinney were selected to the second squad, and llerb Day, Bill Miller, and Ralph Nichol were given honorable mention. Bus Eoff gained an additional honor when selected on the All-American football team. This distinction earns him the right to play in the annual national all-star football game, which will probably be played in Memphis, Tennessee, next August. llerb Day catches a pass and heads for Caldwell's goal. Buster drives for that extra yard against Boise. 76
