At each grading period we have eopped first place in attaining the most students on the honor roll. At, the first ofthe year we elected three versatile pepsters to lead our class: .lay Dean, president: Curg Peterson, vice-presidentg and ,lane Dickman, secretary. Chosen to head the biggest event of the year were Mary llelene Thompson and Curg Peterson, co-chairmen for the Junior-Senior Prom. Through their efforts the Prom was hailed as a sparkling success. Wfe cheered our ,lunior Varsity Basketball team at every home gameg they linished tht season with eight wins and seven losses. Ably advised by Mrs. York and Mr. Bittleston, we can always remember this year as one of our most enjoyable times in high school. Now as we step forward as uppcrclassmen, is e look to the future with great enthusiasm. 24 1

Archery Clulr and the newly-formed Ski Clnlv lnoth claimed her as u memher. Denon I-:s 'l'vcz Petite Dee elliciently managed the Merit Board and the Service Clulr, She still found time for memhership in Spiz, Ilonor Society, and to participate in tennis. Dow M ATIIEWS Music und speech activities have heen Ilon's main interests while in high school. Direct- ing the I'ep Hand was one of his Iniggest responsibilities. Being very active in dehate und public speaking, he earned membership in N.F.l,., llelnate Cluh. Ile was also prexy of Ilonor Society.
