1964 WILDCAT Nahunta High School Nahunta, Georgia Seniors ’64 DEDICATION Mr. Forrest Thomas We, the Senior Class of 1964, wish to express our appreciation to our sponsors for their help and guidance. We are extremely grateful for their hard work and un- selfish devotion for they have made our class what it is today. Because we want to show the gratitude of the Senior Class we affectionately dedicate our annual, The Nahunta Wildcat, to you. ADMINISTRATION SUPERINTENDENT Mrs. Mable R. Moody To the Seniors and Sponsors I wish to express my sincere thanks and appreciation for making your Yearbook of 1964 a tremendous success. You have recorded within these pages school life as it actually happened and the memories of this eventful experience as depicted by these pictures will forever be treasured by you and your posterity. You are, at this point in your life, about to establish a pattern of life which will re- main with you the rest of your living days. Are you going to be satisfied with mediocrity or are you going to strive for excellence? It is so easy to accept the former and wish for the latter. The choice is yours, and yours alone. The road will be rough but the rewards great. My every good wish is yours in your pursuit of excellence. Mrs. Mable R. Moody PRINCIPAL Mr. Hubert W. Sasser You will have the privilege of living in the most exciting, stimulating, and turbulent period in man’s history. But, with that privilege comes the responsibility of learning to cope with the complex challenges facing man today. Remember, you will be held accountable for the kind of world you pass on to succeeding generations. Some of you will seek to meet this responsibility through further education, others will go directly into the economic and social life of the community. Whatever avenue you choose, strive for the fullness of life that comes with the satis- faction of a job well done. Do not be chained by conformity, entombed by provincialism, or ruled by disappointment. For the aware, optimistic individual, life is a great adventure. Emerson said it best, We find in life exactly what we put in it.” Hubert W. Sasser SR. HIGH TEACHERS MR. FORREST THOMAS Math Physical Education Coach MRS.
